Shearer's book consists of two primary volumes with several additional books: The Christopher Parkening Guitar Technique Made by the famous guitarist, Christopher Parkening, this a terrific method book for newbies. If you are a fan of Christopher Parkening and his playing design, I highly suggest that you get this book.
I believe every classical guitar player that I understand has this book on their bookshelf. That being said, This Piece Covers It Well is NOT a progressive technique book for beginners. This is more of a "resource book" for skilled gamers to more establish their guitar strategy: Modern Classical Guitar Technique Mel Bay makes an educational book for almost every instrument of every style.
It teaches you all the fundamentals of classical guitar method, with fun plans of popular songs by Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, and more: The Total Carcassi Guitar Method This is the guitar approach of the popular 19th century guitar player, Matteo Carcassi. If you are a beginner, I don't advise starting out with this book ...
However, this is a wonderful referral book for more knowledgeable guitar players: The Carcassi Approach is offered in English translation, and features Carcassi's popular "25 research studies for guitar:" Emilio Pujol Guitar School The Emilio Pujol Guitar School is one of the most popular guitar methods ever composed. Written in the early 20th century, it offers us an ideo of Francisco Tarrega, Emilio Pujol, and other popular guitar players from that age might have played.
The Emilio Pujol Guitar School includes 3 volumes. For a very long time, this method was just readily available in Spanish, nevertheless, it is now readily available in English translation: Metodo Completo Per Chitarra Another famous historic approach by the 19th century guitarists, Ferdinando Carulli. Unfortunately, this approach is just readily available in Spanish: Aguado New Guitar Approach Aguado's New Guitar Technique is among my preferred 19th century guitar approaches.
I advise this book to all knowledgeable guitarists: Copyright 2014 All Rights Scheduled.
